Action taken by you at Hong Kong to invite contribution towards expenses of regional information office was unauthorised and should not have been taken. In spite of what was said at end of telegram No. 336 it is important that you do not (repeat not) continue to investigate possibility of obtaining contribution from Hong Kong Government.
