Nationalist Soldiers on ETHEL MOLLER.
Having no camp or suitable accommodation in which these 176 Nationalist soldiers could be detained they were kept on board ship after the arrival in this colony and were sent to Formosa by Norwegian ship on 22nd May.
I may add that on 23rd junk with 42 Chinese communist soldiers taking refuge in our waters was similarly dealt with, the soldiers being passed over land border into Chinese territory. See my savingram No. 591 of
