Oliver Chitley is returning to the B.B.C. having finished his period of secondment, and that I have come from the Corporation to take his place hære as Broadcasting üfficer. I don't think we have
met, but I have no doubt that we will now be corresponding with one another.
I see from your personal letter of
14th September to Blackburne that you did not receive Whitley's letter of 15th August on the subject of the transfer of B.B.C. staff, so I now anclose a copy.
As you will see, the views expressed in this letter are very muchı in line with those taken by the B.B.C. in their letter to you of 15th August.
