Senior Naval Officer, Hong Kong and the Air Officer Commanding, Hong Kong, respectively. The Naval Commander-in-Chief, Far East Station will designate the Senior Naval Officer, Hong Kong, dependant on the strength of the naval forces assigned for the defence of the Colony.

Administrative. As General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Hong Kong, you will be responsible to the Commander-in-Chief, Far East Land Forces for the administration of the Land Forces in Hong Kong. The Commanders of the Naval and Air Forces will be responsible to their own Commanders-in-Chief for the administration of their forces.

In addition, you will be responsible for the allocation between the fighting forces of any commodities and services in short supply in the Colony.
