THE COMMITTEE considered a telegram from the British Defence Co-ordination Committee, Far East, about the reinforcements required for Hong Kong.
THE COMMITTEE agreed that a telegram should be despatched to the British Defence Co-ordination Committee, Far East, informing them of the decisions recently taken by the Cabinet+ and Defence Committee on the despatch of Army reinforcements to Hong Kong, It was pointed out that a telegramX had already been sent explaining the position about air reinforcements,
THE COMMITTEE:-
instructed the Secretary to draft and despatch a telegram to the British Defence Co-ordination Committee, Far East, as indicated in discussion.
