He suggested that the British Defence Co-ordination Committee, Far East, should be informed that the Chiefs of Staff had taken note of their views and that a reply would be sent when their fresh Appreciation was received.
In discussion there was general agreement with the views expressed by the Vice Chief of the Imperial General Staff.
