Financial arrangemento for visit to Malaya are that our equivalent to officer'e pay, allowances and contingent pension(totalling approximately £1,05% per annum) for period of visit should be refunded to Netropolitan Police by Crown Agents who also pay cost of passages and outfit allowance, Payment of usual travelling and subsistence allowances and offer of small honorarium not exceeding £100 are being made direct to officer by Government of Federation of Balaya.

2. Apart from honorarium, which would be at your discretion, visit to Hong Kong will be on same boaia. You may feel it would be equitable to bear aome part of cost of outfit allowance and return passage from U.K. to Singapore and I assume any such agreement and other arrangements for visit will be concerted direct with ligh Commissioner, Federation of ihlava.
