2. of these sums, £27. 17. 100. (not £27. 15, 38. as notified to Hong Kong in my savingram No. 967), has already been debited to Hong Kong funds in respect of item (a), being the amount of Coveney's pay and allowances for the period 4th 13th August inclusive, 1.e. for his stay in Hong Kong and return journey from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom. Balance has been debited to Poderation of Malaya funds.
