Instructions for H.M.S. NIGERIA and H.M.S. SNIPE have bw been agreed between Admiralty, Foreign Office and ourselves, and follow general lines forecast in my telegram No. 48 BRIEF paragraph 4. Foreign Secretary specially requested that Governor of the Falklands should after all go on board the naval ships and we are telegraphing te-night requesting him to do so unless there are pressing reasons requiring his presence in Port Stanley.
