Thank you very much for your letter of the 20th January about the "Walled City of Kowloon". The
Chancellor was very grateful for your note, but would be pleased to receive a suitable draft in the way of an answer which he might send through the Ambassador to Hanlihwu.
Could you, therefore,
prepare such a draft, in consultation with the Foreign Office, and let the Chancellor see it before it is despatched?
