6. In the last two weeks, the Kowloon City squatters have received encouragement in the form of not inconsiderable donations of money from Chinese in the Philippines, from Canton and from Formosa. This will serve to hold together the "Kowloon City Residents' Association", and it shows that the matter is not being allowed to drop out of the picture by the Chinese.
