Reference first sentence of paragraph 2 of telegram, I now learn that two men understood to be
representatives of Canton authorities visited Kowloon City on 21st February and advised squatters to do nothing until negotiations between China and H.M.Government were completed. 'Fact remains however that 28 huts and four tents have been
re-erected since original eviction.
