This might be done by deleting the words "Kowloon Cith" in the seventh line of paragraph 4 and inserting the following passage: "jurisdiction in the Walled City of Kowloon' • which covers an area of over 6 acres and is some 20 miles within the boundary of Hong Kong,".
I have not included in this letter some
amendments which we suggested in paragraph 6 of the Foreign Office draft, as I understand that it is likely that this paragraph will be deleted altogether.
