I think there io no need to make any formal or long atatquenb. I vill merely state that it is the intention of Els Majesty's Government to maintain their position in Hats Finge Ja entirely appreciate the importance Gf Hong Kong as described by the right honcurable Gentleman.. Indeed, wo feel that in this particularly troubled situation the value and importance of Hong Kong as a centre of stability will be greater than ever.
