Why dont you say straight away it is a fine ?
Because it is not re-cano. The Government cant use that
money. For instance, a contractor is fined sometimes, for not carrying out his work, but that is entered up and added on to the revesus of the Governsent, but this amount of fines from the Inspectors is entered up under this separata heading, and the Government cannot avail
themselves of it.
Do you remember the case of the 29th of last month, of Senior Inspector Conolly being reported for assamit ?
