I dont think they have very much to do at present.
If you were a business man, as five or six members of 13595
the Sanitary Board ars, you would consider they had a
good deal ?
I dont think they have got very much power. The
Sanitary Board have certain powers under the
Ordinance to recommend the Governor in Council to give
modifications or exemptions, and they oan grant

licenses under certain circumstances, and they can
discuss questions, but they have no staff and no money.
