In the ordinary case, where goods which are being used
week by week or month by month the Inspector who
wishes any of these goods will make out an indent on
the Secretary and ask for an order on a certain
contractor, who supplies these goods.

Yes. Before I would initial that, I should do my best
to find out whether it was really necessary or not. For
example, we have a disinfecting apparatus, in which we
use gasoline. I dont think that is on the contract list.
The first time I tried it, we used kerosine, and found
it would not work. I therefore sent to a shop in town for
so much gasoline, and the order was made on that shop.
If so much wood is required for coffins, the Inspector
makes out an order for so many square feet of wood,
but I cant possibly say whether that amount of wood is
really absolutely necessary for making so many coffins.
Does he tell you the number of coffins, when he wants
you to indent for that quantity of wood ↑
