resolution ?

A:-

Have you heard of a case like that Bay the Sanitary Board passes a resolution, carries a "esolution by a majority, and the President against it, have you heard of a case in which

the President wrote to the Government informing the Govern=

-ment that he was against it?

I would not like to say definitely, I have I think s dia

recollection of such a case but I would not say definitely.

Q: Will you look it up and answer next meeting?

The Chairman 14

I don't know that that is a question you should press on the

Secretary. It seems more a question for the President.

Witnesa:- I think 80.

Pung Wa Chun:- I forgot to ask him.

Shelton Hooper:- We shall ask him again. Perħars it had better be put to r

Clark.

Witheant- I remember a distinct case in which it was pointed out

-

that the doctors were all on one side but still I prefer

not to answer the question because I can't answer it defin-

-itely. I have a dim recollection of what Hr Bung Wa Chun

suggests but in order to find out such a matter as that I

should have to handle every paper for the last six or seven

⚫years.

Shelton Hooper:- I must say I agree with Mr Fung Wa Chun and if that question

Fung Wa Chuti 3 **

ia pressed no witness can say they decline to answer it. It

might stand over till next mecting.

I think that is rather a. important quentina.
