A meeting was called on ilth instant by the Municipal kuomintang ileadquarters between representatives of all organizations concerned to discuss the question of beaning the import into Canton of printed matters published in Hongkong which are of an instigating and indecent nature. The follow- ing resolutions were passed:-
(1) Frinted matters published in longkong will be
censored, and a list of those allowed to be on sale in the market will be sent to the News- paper Agencies Association;
(2) The organiz a ti ons concerned, such as the Police
organizatious Headquarters, etc., will be notified of those printed matters which are of an instigating
and indecent nature in order that the printed matters may be confiscated;
(3) Searching parties will be des atched to search for
those indecent and instigating printed m tters that have been imported into Canton from Honęk one;
(4) The Canton "unicipal Fuorintang Readquarters and
the Provincial ducation Bureau will be responsible for the censoring of lionekong printed mitters.
