It has been decided that those members of the Civil Defence Services of Malaya and Hong Kong now released from internment, who are not eligible as Government servants or otherwise for accrued pay during internment, may on application, be granted ex gratia payments, equivalent to three months pay of their Civil Defence posts.

Particulars of claims, with evidence in support where possible, should if not already submitted be sent to the Malayan Government
