Mr Clifford, Crown Counsel, said that about 9.30 p.m. on August 7 Inspector Carruthers and two detec- tives went to Castle Peak Road on information, and saw the two men lying on the grass beside the road. A search was made, but nothing found.

BUS DISPUTE SETTLED
A minor dispute between the managements and employees of the Hongkong Motor bus Company and Kowloon Motor Bus Company over the interpretation of an agreement signed some months ago was settled following a meeting at the Labour Office on Wednesday when Maj Chauvin, Assistant Labour Officer, acted as witness to the settlement.
Mr Ngan Shing-kwan, Managing- Director of the Hongkong Motor Bus Company, said yesterday the matter was settled after a misunderstanding by the workers over the English version was cleared up.
Passengers leaving Hongkong for Siam are required to have valid certificates of vaccination against smallpox and inoculation against cholera, an official announcement said yesterday.
