Who was your architect ?

I had no architect. I bought the old shops.

Put you say you wanted to build shops, facing that 19746 way, and therefore it was land.

You said it was vacant ground when you bought this. There had been shops on it, but the shops originally

should have been faring the hill side.

But where was the grievance to you? Did you buy the 19747 land, or did you buy it after it was built on with the

shope?

No, I did not build the shops.

19748

What you mean to say is that when the landowner built on that lot, he should have had a 50 feet road along

the hill ?

Mr Shelton Rooper!»

How do you know that the Government sold it, undertak- ing to out that 50 foot road at the back?

A.

I know about It, because the Goverment lost in a case which a landlord of one of those houses had against the Government. The care was that a toulder had come down," and broken one of the shops.
