I understand that your firm were consulted towards the
end of last year with regard to some altsations which had been made in a shop in West Street, No 3 West
Street. Roughly, as we understand it, the question was that the man, whose shop name is Man Lee Yuen, was summoned before the Police Hagistrate, and fined for not having his premises built in accordance with the plane. It had already been passed, and the statement
now made to us is that it was à mistake, and that the building was in accordance with the plans, and I am given to understand that your firm were consulted on the matter. The plans were not originally draw up by
you. They were draw up by Mr Brotherton Harker, and I want to know if you have any note of it. There appears
to have been some mistake made by an Inspector, and I
want to get at the bottom of it.
