The plans were sent in to us with some drains shewn on them that were referred, as all plans are, to the X. 0. X. who passed them on to the Sanitary Surveyor, and he stated that no plans had been deposited with the Sanitary Board for the drainage. 80, a letter was sent to the Architects asking for a drainage plan to be submitted. "That went on the 15th August, and Meaars Palmer and Turner submitted the plan according to those papers on the 5th September. That was passed on to Wr Bryan, the Sanitary Surveyor, and on the 16th September, he minuted that he had seknowledged the drainage plan.. Then, the X. 0. R. was asked whether the plan could be

not approved.
