better tell you more specifically what occurred,
otherwise it is not fair to the officer. I was
informed in the course of conversation by one of the
Members of the Board on the staircase leading up to
my office, that this gentlemen had heard certain
statements that lead him to the conclusion that the
Sanitary Surveyor might have been receiving bribes.
