The first order that mas made by the Secretary of the Sanitary Board to supply Carbotosene for the use of the Board was made on the 23rd April 1900, and the first issue ms made on the 8th May 1900. Carbolozens was obtained through a local firm, Hosers Watkins, and the price me $2 a gallon.

It was not bafore that, That was done later.

that enquiry, Carbolosene was abolished.
