We have been getting a good deal of evidence with regadd
to disinfectants, and in that connection there are some
questions I mnt to put to you. How do you generally get
your disinfectants that are used by the Sanitary
Department ↑ Are they ordered out from home, or bought
locally from agents ↑
A.
Jeyes Fluid is bought locally from Jeyes agents.
41 A.

A.
It is a matter of convenience, because they store it in
godowns, and we draw it as we require it, and Government
sanctions that arrangement.
Jayes Fluid has been in use for many years, an is 15342
thoroughly well known ?
Yes. We get other disinfectants locally. Occasionally
we get carbolic acid locally, and we got chloride of
lime from Japan, because it was cheaper than we got from
Ingland.

Was it equally satisfactory ↑
15743
A.
Yes. Before anyone issues an order at all, a sample is
sent to the Government Analyst, and the price and quality
