From information I got, I proceeded to Canton, where I had an interview with Lo Man Kai. He handed me a letter and stated he wished to make a statement concerning his dismissal from the Hongkong Government service. I therfore read his statement, which I now put in. It is
as follows:-
*Steamer Fatshan. Canton 5th August 1906.
