"I wish to add that when I paid the money to the
*Inspector for the two houses in Des Voeux Road, I *asked him to give the owner something in writing, to "shew that the concrete was alright, and he drafted a "letter for the occupiers to write to the Sanitary "Board, applying for a certificate. and of the $50 I received, I paid Mok Hon Shun *$10. In the $50 case, whẹn two houses belonging to the "same firm, which were also exempted, I paid Inspector "Gidley $50, and he returned me $10, of which sum I "paid Mok Hon Shun $3.
