Health would shew a lot of papers missing ?
but if you
That is, if you reported on a remo, reported on a sheet of foolscap, the only think you
could know of it after would be by keeping a ecpy. In No
9 District, I used to keep one, and when I left the District, I turned over all to Inspector Ward - every- thing that I kept there.
That would be the best way to do. It would be a good 96 thing to see that all reports ought to be made on a book
with counterfoils ?
The proper thing would be to have carbon paper, and
indelible pencils.
Everything in duplicate ?
Yes.

Ought they not to be numbered, because if an Inspector 5748 wanted to make away with a copy or the original, he

They ought all to be numbered.
It seems to me that all the papers should be numbered, 3749 and copies kept, and that the District Inspector, when
he makes his report, should enter it at cnce in the District book. Would that be possible to see that there
is a book kept at the District Office ?
The clerks record that.
