in Memorandum No.85 M.of the Colonial Defence Committee.
In reply I am to inform you that Lord Lansdowne approves
of the recommendations of the Colonial Defence Committee, and to
transmit, for the information of Mr.Secretary Chamberlain, a copy of a letter that his Lordship has addressed to the Foreign
Office on the subject.
