A force marching on Sunions Town by that coute is liable to have its utredt completely cut off, either by a sape Town force from Kalk Bay, or by a force from Sinous Town mosing by the directread
to Chapman's Bay.
It would moreover be easily checked and stopped in its advance by the whole Simons Townforce which, after having defeated it, world have plenty of time to cross the mountains by the direct road and cut off its estreat to the boats. Ad attack by that road ought therefore to be acpossible.
It is almost certain therefore that a forc landing. in Chapman's Bay for the purpose of attacking kinous town would advance by the second or third alternative routes; perhaps by Lotte.
