Please refer to 8ir George Gater's letter No. 13031/10/46 of the 37th April, 1946. We have now received a copy of the instructions issued by the Admiralty to 0. in 0. British Pacific Fleet and the Commodore Hong Kong concerning the command of the Services in Hong Kong now that the Civil Administration has been resumed.
We therefore propose to send a despatch
to the Governor telling him of the arrangements.
