Will you please refer to your letter of the 16th July, No.Co 851/6, to Air George Geter, about the procedure in referring matters of dispute between Civil and Service authorities in Hong Kong for decision.
I enclose for you occurrence a raft telegram which we would like to send to Hong Kong and repent to the Governor-General Malaya on hia subject.
I would call your tiention to para 4 of the braft. It means to us very desirable that if the 21eputes between Civil and Service Authorities in Hong Kong were referred to the South at isin Derence (uiitce, the Governor of flong Keng shouli hrve the right to attend or be represe led which is normally provided for Governors enter the Governor-General's aegia.
