You may like to know that Kajor-General G.W.K.J. Brakine, 0.B., D.S.O., to to be appointed General Officer Cormenting, Land Forces, Hong Kong, in succession to Major-General Festing. We have been told by War Office that Brakine has been specially picked for this appointment and they assure us that he is first class in every way and a most worthy successor to Fenting.
