We are in full agreement with the views of the Governor of Hong Kong and proposals set out above. The one LCI (L) would be retained both for assisting im the assault lift and for local use. We request that you approve the retention of one LCI (L) at Hong Kong and the provision of ten additional RCLS. Also you are requested to agree that the LCI(L) and ROLS will be replaced as they become unserviceable.
