Garrison theatres and/or sporting clubs required an Island, Karloon and Nor Territories.

In addition to construction of new permanent barracks extensive reconstruction will be required on existing barracks:

VICTORIA BARLICKS are badly damaged, and are old fashioned. They will require improvement and rehabilitation.

WHITFIELD BARRACKS. Although little damage has been done, the barracks do not come up to modern standards. They were built to accommolate Italian troops and require much alteration to fit them for any troops, particularly British.
