Note by the Secretary
The memorandumby the War office to which is annexed a draft report to the Defence Committee on the above subject was circulated for approval by telephone.
2. The Air Ministry have now submitted the attached re-draft of their suggested report to the Defence Committee.
3. As the Admiralty have notified us that they wish the matter discussed before reference to the Defence Committee, this note and annex, together with the memorandum by the War Office, have been placed on the Vice Chiefs of Staff genda for discussion on Thursday, 18th July, 1946.
