sir,

I am directed by Mr. Secretary Hall to enclose

a list compiled by Lieutenant-Commander J. Jolly, C.P.E. Harbour Master, Hong Kong, of vessels sunk in the waters of Hong Kong during the period of the japanese attack on the Colony. It is thought that this list may be of interest in connexion with the settling

of outstanding War Risks claims.

2. Commander Jolly, whose present address is 268, Norbreck Road, Little Biapham, Blackpool, will be glad to furnish any further information within his power, and it is suggested that you should communicate direct with him in the matter, if desired.

I am, sir,

Your obedient servant,

THE SECRETARY,
