Admiralty are proposing to erect Naval W/T Station in new territory at Hong Kong. Essential that approaches to Ping Shon airfield should be kept clear of obstructions and mutual interference between this station and airfield radar be avoided. C. in C. British Pacific Fleet has been instructed to take these points into account in preparing siting plans. Special mission

sent from U.K. to report on layout of Ping Shan should be consulted on obstruction aspect and request you arrange to put Naval authorities in touch with them. AHQ Hong Kong and Hồ CSEA are in position to advise re signals and radar plans.
