It has been decided to emine the possibility of introducing a civil flying-boat service botwoon Singapore and Hong Kong as early as possible,
Mr. Giles, F/Lt. Kanning and /Cdr. Bennett representing Ministry of Civil „viation and B.0.1.3. will arrive Singaporo approximately May 7th to carry out reconnaissance of route and existing ground organisation.
Roquest you give this party all assistance possiblo.
In particular it is desirable that party should travel from Singapore to Hong Kong by R....F. flying-boat if this can be arranged. On return journey party will probably want to visit Hanoi, Haiphong, Bangkok and basos in Hainan Island.
Local civil and French authorities are being informed
of this visit through the civil departments concerned.
