beginning "In other words" and ending in "during the occupation" should be amended to read as follows. Begins. "In other words, their maximum 1bability would be the pre-occupation deposit, plus any deposi ta and leas any withdrawals proved to be în genuine Waleyan currency (on which see below) less any excess of withdrawale over deposits in Japanese surrency during the occupation". Ends.
