Situated on mainland along north shore of Kowloon Bay, 4 miles 35° from Victoria City on Hong Kong Island. Black hangar and white buildings of R.A.F. station on East
side. Black Civil hangar on West side. Obstruction lights on surrounding hills.

North and east sides, bills rising to 2,000. West side,
buildings of Kowloon City. South side, sea. rounding country is unsuitable for emergency landings. Kwanti Race Course, bearing 345°T 18 miles from Air- port, could be used by small aircraft.
Control tower is situated at Civil hangar (8«e plan). Right hand circuits for easterly winds and winds under
4 k.p.h. Left band circuits for westerly winds. When wind is less than 4 k.p.h. landings and take-off
must be made from N.W, to S.E.
Pilots must report arrival to Control Officer and obtain per-
mission for departure, except for local flights. Open continuously.
