A responsible official or attendant is always present during the bathing operations, and he reports, in writing, to the Super- intendent of the institution as to the existence of any bruises, eruptious, deformities or other peculiarities he observes when patients are stripped.

*Seclusion" means "the enforced isolation of a patient by day between the hours of 7 a.m, and 7 p.m. by the closing by any means whatsoever of the door of the room in which the patient is". The term "seclusion' does not apply to patients who are locked up in their rooms at night, as all patients sleeping in single rooms are locked up.
