TOWN PLANNING SCHEMES IN PROGRESS.

(1) GENERAL

Town planning work has, in the main, consisted of dealing with small areas, either in

conformity with or as amendments and additions to the recommendations of the Town Planning

Committee of 1922.

(2) During 1937 Development Schemes were prepared for the following areas,

HONG KONG

Government Civil Hospital Grounds, scheme for conversion to public

park as memorial to the late King George V.

Arsenal Street.-Further Revised Scheme.

Wongneichong Valley.

Yacht Club Reclamation. North Point.

Stanley Village.-Revised Scheme.

KOWLOON :-

Canton Road.--Scheme for development of vacant land as a park, as a

memorial to the late King George V.

Kowloon Tsai.-Minor amendments.

NEW TERRITORIES :-

Tsun Wan.-Revised Scheme.

Lamma Island.-Site for proposed Leprosarium surveyed.
