TOWN PLANNING SCHEMES IN PROGRESS.
(1) GENERAL
In 1922 a Town Planning Committee was convened and schemes prepared for the im-
provement of existing lay-outs and the development of new areas, both in Hong Kong and Kowloon. These schemes have been proceeded with and amended as has been found necessary.
During 1932 lay-outs for the following areas have been prepared.

Jardine's Look-out.
Harlech Road.
Addition to and alternative to
Little Hong Kong (Aberdeen Valley).
New lay-outs.
Government House and Office Area.
City of Victoria Central Area near Statue Square.
Wanchai Road.
Morrison Gap Road,
East Point.
Aberdeen Village.
Stanley Peninsula.
Crown Laud near Broadwood Road.
(3) KOWLOON AND NEW TERRITORIES :
New lay-outs.
Kowloon Tsai.
Area north of Cornwall Street, Kowloon Toug.
New Magistracy Site, King's Park and surrounding area.
New Central British School Site, Argyle Street and surrounding area.
