Services in mutshed in 1842. First stone laid 11th March, 1847, and opened for Divine Service on the 11th March. 1849, 3 Morning Services and 1 Evening Service every Sunday. Service daily and Special Services on Holy Days,

Opened for Divine Service on 11th January, 1872. Under Bill No. 2 of 1930 it becomes a chapel of Ease to the cathedral.
