LIGHT DUES.
All ships other than river steamers which enter the waters of the Colony except British and Foreign Ships of War, and all vessels of less than 20 tons shall pay the following dues, viz., four cents per ton.
All River Steamers, which enter the waters of the Colony by day or by night, shall
pay one and a half cents per tou.

Provision of water supply shall be deerned to be made for a tenement although it has no connection with the Goverument watermains or waterworks, if such tenement is situated within 200 yards from a Government watermain.
The Rates are payable quarterly in advance within the first month of each quarter. These Rates are chargeable on, and recoverable from, the owners of the tenements
in respect of which the above assessments have been made.

CLASS IV.—All other Vessels of any description not licensed in

The licence fees for all other vessels in this class shall be half those provided
for Lighters, and Cargo Boats.
