SLAUGHTER-HOUSES ;—
Sole privilege of slaughtering nuimals for die food of man within any part of Sai Wan Ho and Aberilven granted by Tender for one year from 1st January to 31st December, 1930, for $4,260 and $2,304 respectively.
Sole privilege of the daily collection and removal of blood and hair from the Slaughter-houses situated at Kennedy Town in the City of Victoria and at Ma Tau Kok in Kowloon granted by Tender for one year from 1st. January to 31st December, 1930, for $8,064 and $2,904 respectively. Depôts for Cattle, Pigs, Sheep aul Gonts at Kennedy Town and Ma Tan Kok:-
The fee payable for each hend of eattle housed in a Government Depôt shall be fifty cents when enttle so housed are removed to any place other than the Slaughter-house aljoining such Dopût or another Government Depôt, and the fee payable for each pig, sheep and goat similarly housed and removed shall be ten cents, No fee is payable on admission...................

The Hong Kong Tramway Company, Limited, shall pay to the Government
the following Royalties, that is to say :—
(a.) From 22nd September, 1914, for the period of twenty-five years, a Royalty amounting to live per cent, per annum of the profits of the Company.
(b.) After the said period of twenty-five years (22nd September, 1939) bas expired and for so long as the Company shall exercise their said rights, powers and authorities a Royalty amounting to twenty-five per cent, per annum of the profits of the Company.
For the purpose of this section profits shall be the gross takings of the Company less working expenses, and such working expenses shall not be deemed to include any interest or dividends upou sity moneys borrowed for the purposes of the Company.
