CHARGES FOR THE STORAGE OF GUNPOWDER AND OTHER EXPLOSIVES

IN THE GOVERNMENT DEPÒTS.

The minimum charge for each 50 lbs, or fraction of 30 lbs., gross weight, sball be $1 a month or fraction of a month; except as above, the charge shall be 25 rents for each 50 lbs, or fraction of 50 lbs., gross weight, for a mouth or fraction of a month.

The weight of the various packages will be determined at the time of storing, and no alteration will be allowed after they have been received into the magazine.

The Government will not be responsible for damage by explosion, or by in- sufficient or improper packing; and, as wooden packages are liable to the attacks of white ants, they should be tin-lined, and the lining should be intact.
